Vincitore dell’Italian Council (2019), è stato, fra l’altro, Visiting all’ E.on Stiftung e Premio Terna per l’arte contemporanea.

In the shown work, a relic from the infancy of the electric era, the incandescence bulb, hangs, as at a time threshold, over the dig of the chapel placed beneath the XVIII century nave of the later baroque cathedral. At planned intervals, the bulb, dazzling like a red dwarf star, violently lights up relics among relics, both the archaeologic stones and the waste of today’s anthropocene, a chaos of reflecting debris collected at the Noto’s dump. The visitor is thus driven into a trip through space and time, and called to reflect on human impact and its outcomes.
