Il video riprende una performance condotta
sott’ acqua, l’ elemento all’origine della vita, ma non certo appropriato all’uomo, nel quale l’artista
agisce tuttavia con apparente naturalezza, facen-
dosi lei stessa natura, e muovendosi al ritmo della massa liquida. Limitandosi ad espirare, Biava produce bolle d’aria che disegnano forme astratte e forme geometriche che ricordano l’anello matematico Torus e assumono dimensioni più grandi delle bolle che si possono formare in
superficie, grazie alla maggior pressione della profondità (20 metri).
L’artista magnifica così l’energia dell’azione, uno dei concetti centrali nel suo lavoro, insieme a informazione e materia. E operando in un mondo irreale, muto e inabitato, evoca l’associazione con l’atmosfera magico-onirica della creazione artistica in un contesto di armonica eco integrazione che trasmette allo spettatore sensazioni di agio, serenità e purezza.

The video portrays a performance under the sea waters, the element at the origins of life, though hardly appropriated for man, wherein the
artist looks fully at ease, herself nature within nature, moving at the same pace of the liquid mass. By just her exhalations, Biava generates
air bubbles that take abstract geometric shapes remembering the Toru mathematical ring and are much larger than the bubbles that can be produced in the air thanks to the higher pressure under sea waters (20 meters). In doing so, the artist magnifies the energy of her action, one of her works’ key concepts, together with information and the matter. And as she acts within an unreal light, and a uninhabited, silent world, her action evokes an association with the magic-oneiric world of artistic creation in a context of harmonic eco-integration that conveys to the viewer much the same feeling of comfort, serenity and purity.
