Il video è il secondo di una trilogia e nasce dalla rivisitazione del mito di Sisifo, restituendo le sue metafore attraverso la costruzione di un castello di carte. Il completamento dell’’impresa, raro e difficile, richiede concentrazione, abilità e una certa dose di sforzo. Ma anche il successo è fragilissimo: un solo secondo ci consegnerà alla morte a cospetto di una vita di fatica e quotidiano esercizio, monete non valide per merce imperitura… Sisifo costruisce il suo castello, lo vede abbattersi, ma sa anche che lo rifarà, che la fine è equivalente ad un nuovo inizio, che lo sforzo disatteso dalla caduta è, per virtù dell'arte e dello spirito, circolare alla rinascita: l'arte compie una sovrapposizione tra opposti che non esiste nella vita, fa combaciare i lembi di un vissuto che solo memoria e storia sanno ricucire…Una metafora dalla forma palindroma della fatica, del dolore e della stasi dell’esistenza umana terrena. The video belongs to a trilogy revisiting the myth of Sisyphus, whose metaphors are symbolized by the construction of a card house. Completing the action is rarely achieved and very difficult; but even when successful the result remains extremely precarious: death will take us away within seconds, in spite of a whole life of effort and permanent application, both invalid currencies for everlasting stuff. ..Sisyphus builds his castle, sees it crumbling, but knows that he will rebuild it, that, thanks to art and the human spirit, a circular relationship will take place between end and the rebirth. Since, unlike life, art combines the contraries, matches the ends of a fabric that memory and history only may patch up…A palindromic metaphor for the effort, the pain, the stasis of mundane human existence.
