A partire dalla proiezione di una sfera luminosa nel buio, viene scattata una foto analogica frontale di questo sole. Inserita quindi in uno schermo di vetro, la foto appare e scompare con il cambiamento di prospettiva dello spettatore, lasciando lo spazio alternativamente luminoso e nero. L’installazione è accompagnata da una colonna sonora prodotta dall’artista, che attira l’osservatore verso l’opera, generando un legame mistico con il nuovo sole. Parte della serie Another Sun, l’opera si interroga sulla possibilità di creazione di altri soli per altri pianeti, e si pone tecnologicamente nel solco della mitologia dell’astro divino, ponte verso il buio siderale che avvolge l’universo.

By projecting a shining sphere against a dark background, an analogue photography of this sun is shot. The pic is then placed within a glass screen, in such a way that it appears and disappears as the watcher’s perspective changes, letting an alternatively luminous and black space. The installation is matched by a soundtrack composed by the artist, and the watcher is thus attracted towards the work, and thereby involved in a mystic relationship with the new sun. A piece of the series Another Sun, the work technologically questions the possibility of other suns for other planets, in the wake of the divine aster’s mythology, a bridge towards the sidereal darkness wrapping the universe.
