Con un gesto tra l’erotico e il sadico, l’artista strofina la mano su una piantina di Tillandsia Cyanea, che risponde secernendo una sostanza trasparente e vischiosa. Veder piangere questa pianta - oggetto limite, cosa-non cosa - trasporta lo spettatore in una dimensione ambigua, un viaggio fra tenerezza, dolore, erotismo e piacere sadico, un’immedesima-
zione continuamente oscillante fra la soddisfazione del carnefice e l’empatia con la vittima.

By a gesture in between the erotic and the sadistic, the artist rubs a small Tillandsia Cyanea, that answers by secreting a transparent and sticky fluid. This tearing plant - a boundary object, thing-no-thing - brings the watcher within an ambiguous dimension, a trip among tenderness, pain, erotism, and sadistic pleasure, a continuous wavering between the executioner’s satisfaction and the empathy with the victim.
